At AHIMSA We’re committed to using 100% eco-friendly fabrics and dyes in our manufacturing, and we’re equally committed to making sure our processes are just as green. Many of Ahimsa’s manufacturing processes are powered with wind energy. This completely natural, infinitely renewable resource burns no additional fuel to power its operation. Once a wind turbine is built, the energy it produces creates zero greenhouse gases or other pollutants and reduces the consumption of fossil fuels.
In addition to exclusively using vegetable and certified eco-friendly dyes, Ahimsa purifies and recycles the water used in manufacturing our garments. This state-of-the art purification system guarantees to return our processing water to drinking water standards. We continuously examine and re-examine our products, processes and partners to ensure that we adhere to Ahimsa in everything we do.
Eco-lutionary fabrics.
Ahimsa is made using eco-textiles like Khadi, a centuries old naturally made fabric, Tier 3 organic cotton—which ensures that the fibers, processes and sewing plants are all certified organic—and Merino Wool—the world’s first all natural performance fabric. We also incorporate revolutionary eco-textiles like Bamboo Soybean fiber with our organic cotton and merino wool for greater comfort and performance.
